Every time I update my journal it's to say "Oh I haven't posted anything for ages" or "I promise to be more active" and so on. Well a) no I haven't and b) no I don't. But at the moment I'm enjoying fiddling around with some photomanipulations again. Life is busy, always busy and many things have changed in the 11 years I've been on DA but this place is still as exciting  as it always was - so maybe I'll stick around a bit.

I've just realised that I've not posted here since late 2008 which is absolutely shocking! Then again I've not actually posted any deviations either in most of that time... so time to get cracking again. Watch this space, the new graphics tablet is coming out!

Crumbs! It appears to have been over a year and a half since I actually posted anything here since last time was a week before I submitted my Ph.D. What a lot to tell! Got the phd, minor corrections, graduated last June so officially Dr Ross now. Temped a bit, spent 6 months in academia, left because it wasn't where I was at anymore, went back to working in an insurance company for a bit and now have finally gone self employed as a theatre technician. Have just finished touring Romeo and Juliet & Under Milkwood with Independent Ballet Wales as a lighting designer. Great fun! Time to start making some more piccies I think, watch this space.
